We have an action cam mounted on the rearview mirror that shoots and records both the driver and what’s happening infront of the car, and it’s also got a GPS tracker that allows you to see exactly where you’ve been driving and how fast you were going. If something out of the ordinary would happen the instructor can push a button on the remote to pin when and where so you easily can back track when you watch it back at the school. You can bring a memory stick or a USB hard drive and download the footage and watch it at home to see what you might need to improve.
We consider this to be a great teaching tool and it makes it a lot easier for the student to understand our comments to different situations.
